OUR FLAG’S JOURNEY
This is the story of a flag that flew over Forward Operating Base Tagab in Kapisa Province, Afghanistan, in 2007. Given to Independence Landscape by our friend Rocco, a retired Green Beret from 7th Group, this flag has a special place in our shop. As it watched over Rocco and his team, ODA 7214, it now reminds us daily of the values we uphold: dedication, teamwork and pride in our work. For us, this flag is more than a symbol — it’s a call to serve others with consistent effort, season after season. Today and every day, we honor those who serve and carry forward the commitment this flag represents.
